1. ‍Vendors are “Transactional”, “Strategic” or“Integrated”.  Each one meanssomething different, and your company can move through the process…If it knowsthe process.  And what each typerequires.  (Hint: Integrated is thehighest level and best kind)‍
2. Doctors and nurses will be on more ValueAnalysis Committees….Thank goodness. Much of Value Analysis now is under the domain of Supply Chain, but theyall realize they need more Clinical input (doctors and nurses).  The newest, highest level of Value Analysisis called “Clinically Integrated Supply Chain” but we aren’t there yet in manyplaces…‍
3. Physicians CRAVE the data including thefinancial numbers. Doctors and nurses make more educated decisions whenthey have the data.  Give your customersmore and more economic data upfront and you’ll be more likely to succeed inthese Health Systems.
